Poultry
The recommended dose is 20 mg florfenicol/kg bw/day given for 3-5 consecutive days.
Chickens under 4 weeks of age: 100 mL/100 L of water;
Chickens over 4 weeks of age: 200 mL/100 L of water
Pigs
The recommended dose is 10 mg florfenicol/kg bw/day (corresponding to 10 mL of the product/100 kg b.w.) given for 5 consecutive days.
INDICATION(S)
Poultry
Treatment and prevention of colibacteriosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis, staphylococcosis and other bacterial diseases, caused by florfenicol-sensitive microorganisms, in poultry;
Pigs
Treatment and metaphylaxis of swine respiratory disease associated with Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae and Pasteurella multocida susceptible to florfenicol. The presence of the disease in the herd should be established before initiating metaphylaxis.
